The rules of the road — short, honest, and in English.

The readable version of the rules. Using Action Tether means you’re okay with these.
Action Tether is a task-management and personal-assistant tool designed around ADHD. We work hard to keep it fast, available, and honest — but it’s provided “as is,” and like any software it will occasionally hiccup. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
This one matters: Action Tether is a productivity tool, not a medical device, therapy, or treatment for ADHD or any condition. The AI coaching is supportive software — a friend-shaped tool, not a clinician. It doesn’t diagnose, treat, or replace professional care. If you’re struggling, please talk to a qualified professional.
Keep your credentials to yourself, give us accurate info, and be 13 or older. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
Everything you put in — tasks, notes, people, conversations — is yours. You give us only the license needed to store, process, and display it back to you, including sending relevant pieces to the AI provider you’ve configured. Delete your content and that license ends.
Don’t abuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempting to breach other users’ data, no reselling access, no hammering the API or AI allocation in ways obviously beyond personal/team use. We can suspend accounts that threaten the service or other users — with notice, except where the risk is immediate.
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from the service is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including a missed reminder’s downstream effects. (Build slack into anything critical; that’s good ADHD advice anyway.)
